DESCRIPTION
- The logical development of the 9000Q preamplifier raised the question of system expansion and thus led to the birth of the 9000P - the dedicated power amplifier option for the 9000 series.
- A key to the audiolab performance is the Audiolab-standard CFB (Complementary Feedback) topology, which ensures superior linearity and excellent thermal stability, as the idle current is kept independent of the temperature of the output transistors. An all-new and custom specified 320 VA toroidal transformer, followed by 4 x 15,000 uF reservoir capacity (60,000 uF in total), helps the amp to maintain firm control of the music whilst enabling excellent dynamic range.
- The 9000P power amplifier matches the 9000A with a dedicated 100 W per channel into 8 Ω, making it the perfect like-for-like accompaniment for the 9000Q preamplifier.
- However, following the success and acclaim of the Audiolab 8300MB mono power amplifier option, the 9000P offers dual functionality with bridged-mode functionality, thus converting it to a ‘monoblock’ power amplifier that offers 300 W into 8 Ω.
- Designed inline with the smart aesthetic of the 9000 series - solidly built and impeccably finished – the 9000P is theperfect match for all 9000 components.
